The report showcases the substantial benefits that integrated programming has brought to targeted populations, improving nutrition, and increasing access to essential services. The transformative impact of the programme is evident in the significant progress achieved in addressing malnutrition and building community resilience.

Key Success Indicators:

  • Integrated Programming Reach: Total of 313,401 individuals reached through programme integrated approaches during year 4, representing  94% accomplishment of the set targets.
  • Child Nutrition Improvement: Achieved a significant 24.09% reduction in the prevalence, project level, of wasted children under five (0-59 months).
  • Malnutrition Treatment and Referral: 44,355 children successfully referred and treated for Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM). This accomplishment represents 57% of the set target.
  • Enhanced Social Capital: Successfully enhanced social capital at the household level, reaching 75.7% across Turkana and Samburu.
  • Community Engagement in Savings and Micro-finance Programmes: 57,497 individuals engaged in United States government-assisted group-based savings and micro-finance or lending programmes representing 79.8% of set targets.
  • Business Value Growth: Achieved 89% of graduation model groups with increased business value above the total grant (current stock plus cash at hand).
