One in every nine people around the world suffers from chronic hunger — leaving them stuck in an unyielding cycle of poverty and hopelessness. In Yemen alone, over 17 million people don’t have enough food. Breaking this cycle of hunger is possible, but we need your help.

Add your voice today to help fight hunger and feed people around the world.

Programmes like Food for Peace get food to families facing catastrophe, help vulnerable communities build resilience to climate change and conflict, as well as aid small farmers in improving farming techniques and accessing markets where they can sell their produce.

Urge your representatives to fight hunger by prioritizing food security aid.

My Message

Dear Member of Congress,

In a world in which nearly 815 million people — one in every nine — are hungry on a daily basis, and millions more are vulnerable to emergencies because of drought or conflict, it is imperative that Congress prioritize global food security. As a constituent who cares about ending global hunger, I ask that you support legislation and investment in programmes that fight hunger around the world.

Programmes that are part of the Global Food Security Strategy have proven the United States is a leader in ending hunger around the world. They have fostered the creation of inclusive markets and resilient communities that will become self-sufficient in the long-term. Even more significantly, they have helped prevent more than 1.8 million children from developing physical and mental development delays caused by malnutrition.

As a concerned citizen, I ask that you prioritize hunger relief and American leadership in food security aid. Thank you in advance for your consideration of these requests.
