Volunteering

The contribution made to our work by all our volunteers is crucial. About half of our volunteers perform office work, others conduct research for programme staff or help out with general tasks in finance, human resources or development. If you are interested in getting involved we encourage you to submit an application.

Full or Part time Assistant

Climate Change
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in international development and environmental issues who can provide assistance with Mercy Corps' Cool Carbon initiative, particularly with coordinating the eco-schools and faith communities element. Tasks will include: administratative support, running workshops and web/social network monitoring.

The position offers a significant opportunity for an individual seeking to gain experience in the international development sector and would be particularly suited to someone wanting to gain practical experience on climate change issues.

Working with Mercy Corps provides volunteers with the opportunity to acquire appropriate skills and knowledge in the Climate Change Unit of a leading international NGO. For further information about volunteering with the Climate Change team, please contact us.
