Less than six miles from the Syrian border, the Zaatari camp opened just a month ago and is already home to more than 20,000 refugees. The most pressing need in the camp is water. Mercy Corps is assessing the situation and will soon begin drilling wells and set-up a water distribution system to ensure the refugees have adequate clean water.
